Re: Adopting Cat with Cat Flu?
I might give her a tiny bit of garlic cooking powder a few times for immune strengthening, /I used it on a stray with conjunctiveitis and it cleared up really fast.

Re: Quandry W/2 Year Old and a Struggling/Older Cat
This situation isn't tha bad now. Kitty comes and goes at will and stays still most of the time.
I think 4 year old may have pulled her tail so the kids can be mean. Cat is stronger and I think must have gained a little weight. I runs around here and there and seems energetic.

Re: Quandry W/2 Year Old and a Struggling/Older Cat
Kitty is still allowed to be in the bedroom most of the time. She had a strange reaction after going to the vet. She peed in the cat carrier. I cleaned the pillow. But when I returned it to her to sleep on she refused to slee on it all night the first night. Instead she tried to stay in the window. ...

Re: Nervous older kitty in noisy home, owner misunderstanding
I blow fast and hard at their face right away if they do something wrong. They totally get it immediately. I now suspect old dog gave kitty too much attention when it's partner was gone for good or maybe bit her. If it comes into the bedroom, kitty is upset tonight for a long while afraid to go to s...

Nervous older kitty in noisy home, owner misunderstanding
I think I may have started a thread summarizing my situation before. I came to stay with sibling's family. Kitty was hiding a lot and starting to get dangerously thin. We have screaming grandkids under 5 staying here. Cat adopted me, stays in my room 95% of the time. Now sibling is saying, "I c...

I'm confused, my thread is gone?
I thought that this was the forum I put my explaination of my situation in just yesterday or the day before. In short I've been starting to take care of a cat in my bedroom and I'm a guest of the owner/a relative. There is a noisy 2 year old in the house, cat has heart issues. Now Owner is frustrate...

Quandry W/2 Year Old and a Struggling/Older Cat
I do not own the cat. I am staying for an undetermined amount of time. I'm a cat lady, I have rescued and rehomed cats. I left my family's house a year ago when 2 year old moved in as a 1 year old, and the 4 year old was a 3 year old. Kitty is 12 now. When I came back to stay a month ago, kitty had ...
