Re: Poo or sick?
I've seen some treats which supposedly help to avoid them. Anyone used them and think they work, alongside grooming?
Thanks in advance

Re: Poo or sick?
We did consider that. Is there normally a bit of sick with the furball? Makes sense i suppose. She is short-haired and groom her but can still visibly see loose fur after! Seems never-ending.
Is there anything else we can do to help her prevent them?

Poo or sick?
Hi everyone, So we went away for a night a few weeks ago and just left Maple extra food but weren't sure how she would react. When we got home, she seemed fine but had left a deposit at the top of the stairs. Nowv last night she did it again somewhere else, near her litter tray (which is clean). The...

Cat flap in glass door
Anyone put a cat flap in a glass door?
Assuming you got someone to do it, how much did it cost you and we're you happy with it?
Thanks in advance

Re: Dental fees
Hi everyone, Thanks for all your responses. Maple had 6 teeth out for £200, everything included today. Since then she has wolfed down any food put in front of her at lightning speed so she doesn't seem too phased! Either she is really hungry after being denied food for half a day for a aesthetic or ...

Cost of antibiotics /painkillers
Hi everyonez Really appreciating all of your help at the moment. A vet has just quoted £150 to descale our cat's teeth and extract any needed. Medication is on top. As the price seems so good, I'm wondering if anyone had an idea of how much painkillers/antibiotics if needed are likely to set us back...

Re: Dental fees
It's hard when the rescues are charities though isn't it. Just surprised their checks didn't show it up to at least warn us

Re: Dental fees
Thanks for the reply. Yes it is in pounds. Its hard isn't it as they can't fully know the cost until she's under anaesthetic and thety can look. We have contacted the rescue centre just to see if it came up on any checks as this may affect the months free insurance from them. If the medications are ...

Dental fees
Hi everyone, Which just took maple for her vaccinations add first vet check. We got her last week from a rescue centre. She needs some teeth looking at. Unfortunately it won't be covered by insurance as we just got her and I'm guessing they'll say it's preexisting. :( We were given a guide price of ...

Re: Cat won't eat red dry food and farting ?
Just checked and it says its free from artificial colouring.
She ate it the first few days fine, but now just picks the redder stuff out.
P. S we are giving her wet food too

Re: Cat won't eat red dry food and farting ?
Hi there, Thanks for the reply! The food isn't red as such, just a reddy brown colour. I'll check the packet as I hadn't thought of colouring. I think the rescue centre gave her whiskas and felix. Hoping the smells stop soon! She's having a vaccine tomorrow so will just mention it with the vet I gue...

Cat won't eat red dry food and farting ?
Hi everyone, I am a new cat owner and we're really enjoying having Maple in our lives. She's being a bit picky over food, which I gather is normal in a new home but I had a few questions. First, she seems to refuse to eat the red dry food, but eats the rest. Has anyone experienced anything like this...
