Re: Blood in stool - Newly adopted cat
Hi Vic sorry to read this. Worrying & upsetting. Take on Lilynmitz’s advice. Whenever I’ve spotted blood in stools I’ve immediately wormed them for tape worm .. unsure but could it be parasite related. Keep us posted. Vivian

Hi Ariess praying little un’s ok. Are you taking mum? If so are you able to wrap the little un in some thing warm & keep separate to mum as sometimes they can roll in them & smother them. Mum needs to know little un’s close by. Keep us posted. Vivian

Hi Xtina just remembered I’ve a friend who breeds Ragdolls, she buys baby’s food Farax (sp) a powder she mixes in with food she gives her kittens. She swears it helps their calcium levels. Maybe you could look into this to add nutrients to your kitten’s food. Vivian

Re: Pebbles Famous 4 from Oz
Hi folks uuumm Pebbles’s being a typical Siamese. She’s got Simon shaking under the coffee table. He runs & she chases jumping on his back. My suggestion contain her in a cage while Simon’s out giving him a bit of confidence. He’s back up on the lounge. Asking if Pebbles is lying down “No sittin...

Hi Issie believe me whatever you felt like doing .. and I’m not good with heights so climbing our Storey Bridge for a view of the city & river wouldn’t be on the agenda. Perhaps a drive to the beach where we could sit & have an ale or a wine overlooking the Pacific Ocean. As for your friend,...

Re: Weeing on my bed
Hi Inkycat have no advice other than do you have a bathroom you could put her litter tray in as well as a cat bed for her to curl up in & leave her there while she gets in the habit of using the tray? Are you using the same litter as the rescue org? Is she messing on your bed when the tray’s bee...

Re: 11 week old kitten with loose stools
Hi Xtina & welcome. Just an idea... Are you able to take a sample of the stool for your vet to do a flotation test for parasites? Harper, my terror tuxedo was a stray kitten handed into my vet. She had a nasty parasite cocedia (sp) & was being treated at the clinic & they thought all was...

Re: Mia - Chapter 3
Hi Dave this does happen. Sometimes a vet will wait, especially if the kitten’s around 8-12 weeks (personally I think this is too young for neutering, speying) to see if the testicle will drop. TC was around 12 mths when he was surrendered to Little Paws, with the folks who’d adopted Snow Girl, surr...

Hi Issie well done for opening your home to this little Siamese. Pebbles’s is the first oriental I’ve had - & shes’s Xd with something else but has the oriental traits, talkative & follows me everywhere. Now does this little girl have a name? If her elderly ‘mother’s’ had a fall doubt if she...
