A senior male black cat has come to live in our garden. His fur is fading to brown a little as it sometimes does with older cats. He was very thin but is putting on weight now he is being fed.
He has been wearing a yellow Cats Protection collar in case he really has a home to go to, but there has been no response and he rarely leaves the garden. He may have worn a collar in the past as he does not mind wearing the CP one.
We cannot really accommodate him as two of our three cats find his presence stressful. However, he is a very friendly cat who will jump on our laps when we are sitting in the garden. He is a real fusspot and has been someone's pet. He needs a proper home.
Do you know anyone in Hockley, Rayleigh or surrounding areas who has lost a black cat?

Thank you for looking out for this boy! Has he been checked for a chip?
