WARNING: Beaphar Flea Spot On Treatment

Post by Ruth B »

I've just seen a post on the Cats Protection Facebook page (Wolverhampton branch shared from the Stoke and Newcastle branch) about possible problems with this flea spot on treatment.

Nothing concrete just saying that they have been made aware of other Facebook posts saying that this has caused cats to have seizures and have to be put to sleep.

I don't want to cause a panic or spread false news but if there is any possibility of truth in it then I feel I need to spread the word as much as possible. It isn't a brand I have heard of, I rely on Stronghold from the vets, but just in case someone has pack in the cupboard you might want to think twice before using it.

Hopefully someone else might have heard more.
