Thudershirt

Anyone hear of or use a thudershirt? A vet recommended me to get one for Izzy to see if this calms her down
never heard of it before
wondering if a long haired cat like Izzy who is a Maine Coon would tolerate such a thing

I have only come across them for dogs - they seem to help some but not others. It is the slight compression that seems to help, so perhaps it would be worth adapting a child's stretchy t-shirt from a charity shop to see if she tolerates wearing it and if it helps her before investing in an expensive "proper" one.
