Every year in November we run a big Auction on the Purrs Forum fundraising for a Cat Rescue. This year our Auction starts on Sunday 16th November at 3pm and finishes on Sunday 30th November at 8pm.
This year our chosen charity is Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue (Scottish Charity No SC041871- http://www.sunnyharbour.org.uk/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to enlarge their cat care facilities so they can cope with the ever increasing number of cats and kittens in need. Every penny raised will go to help the cats.
Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue is a wonderful rescue run by Husband and wife team, Sarah and Paul, who work around the clock year after year helping needy cats.
"Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue - rescue, rehabilitate and rehome cats and kittens from the Fife, Edinburgh and Lothian areas. We specialise in cases requiring extensive nursing care, behavioral problems and the hand rearing of infant kittens. We regularly take in cats in desperate need of help ‘out of area’ from Oban to Glasgow and even as far south as Birmingham, where there has been a need for our specialist care. We are a family run Charity with the welfare of the cats at the forefront of all we do. We offer an advice line to the public on all aspects of cat care and welfare and work tirelessly all year round to raise the funds required to provide high level of care to all felines in our care."
We have lots of fantastic items in the auction from many big name brands like Simon's Cat, KatKabin, VetUK, Fish4Cats, CatHampurr, Igloopets,Sureflap, CatChat, Pet Remedy etc so you have the opportunity to grab a great bargain. This year we have the brand new Surefeed microchip pet feeder worth £99 and a completely unique one off KatKabin worth £220 up for grabs to name just a couple of items!
Members also can put up items for auction and the whole auction is open to everyone that would like to join in, It's free to join.
Bidding can be fierce at times but it's all fantastic fun while we raise funds to help the needy furkids.
