The biggest I personally have seen is my neighbours Maine Coon who weighs in just under 18lb / 8kg; and he's not a fat cat at all; he's beautiful.

My Badger (a Maine Coon) weighed 7.5kg in his prime. All muscle, bone and fur, no fat on him!

My boy Dexy is 8.95kg but my vet said he is part wild cat. Hense the reason he doesn't appreciate getting petted.

Biggest cat I've known was Baxter, who was a foster cat I had last year. Just a mog, as far as I was aware, but a big tall cat who arrived as a skinny stray but weighed around 7.5kg by the time he went to his forever home.
