Re: Harper & the vase
Lol Vivian, I have - my Siamese were like that, never happy unless up at ceiling level...couldn't close doors in our house because there was usually a cat roosting...do you think Harper's part Meez, or failing that, part BAT?
She's gorgeous anyhow

Re: Harper & the vase
We have a glass, ornament case, over 6' 6" tall, right next to the sideboard which has the stereo unit on it. Tiggy took one look not long after we got her and decided we had just made a nice little staircase for her, onto the sideboard, onto the stereo, onto the top of the case. Scared me the first few times, I could just envisioned coming home to her lying in a pool of blood, glass and china. We tried putting a wargames figure case on top of it to try and fill the space and dissuade her. Unfortunately the one we put up there was soft foams in a canvase bag. we just gave her a comfy place to settle down, even if her ears were brushing the ceiling.
We have now had her over ten years and she still sits on top of the bag on top of the glass case. Neither of the juniors have followed her up yet, but I am half expecting one day to come home and find one of them up there.

Hi Lillith, Crewella & Ruth no Meez but perhaps a bit of bat - she sends me batty with her antics. The vase has been on its side once already. Vivian

Badger was another cat who liked to sleep up high with his ears brushing the ceiling!
One of my fondest memories of him is him climbing up the net curtains, followed by his descending tail first to the sound of the curtains ripping from top to bottom.- Mayday21

Hi Alanc love the pic of Badger. Yep my bedroom curtains have a few extra holes in between the lace. Harper's even tried to stay glued to glass sliding doors. Vivian
