Rescued and so loved, but...

...she's started to sleep outside again. And it's cold.
Over a year ago we found her hanging around while moving a friend out of her house. She was so friendly and cute. As we were driving out of the driveway the last time my grandson saw her sitting in the middle of it just sitting and watching us go. He told me we had to go back and get her, and here she is.
I'm a traveling nurse and recently had to leave her and my other cat (I raised this one from a baby) for a longer time than usual. For some reason, she won't stay in her spot on the closet shelf any more. She stays outside in the patio chair (with a pillow and blanket for cuddling). Every time I try to bring her in and put her back in her sleeping spot she jumps down and goes back out the cat door. I worry that Max (my spoiled brat) might have hurt her or scared her. I keep bringing her in and cuddling her as long as I can, but she keeps wriggling out of my arms and out she goes.
What can I do? I worry about her. And want her to come back in with us.
