Two sisters need help in Glasgow

Post by Swedishyellow84 »

Hi. We have two 13 yr old sisters who we urgently need to rehome. They are ginger tabbies and were originally rescue cats from Sweden, having been found feral. My wife fostered them and couldn't give them back. She then brought them over to the UK with her 9 years ago. Now We are moving abroad and they can't come with us. We have them on a list at the local Cat's Protection Adoption Centre but, since the centre has been quarantined with cat flu for the last month, our cats have been static in the queue. There doesn't seem to be any fostering places in the Glasgow area. We leave on the 30th of August.

Does anyone know if there are foster or shelter places in other areas of Scotland or even northern England? We are pretty desperate to sort this out? Any advice gratefully received.

Cat Chat’s rehoming advice page might help, which also includes advice on ways to avoid having to rehome: https://www.catchat.org/rehome.html

Also this:

And Cat Chat’s Help Desk will have suggestions about temporary cat care : cat.advice (at) catchat.org
