Poor old Smithy seems to have lost two elderly owners in his six years, and was taken to be PTS when his last owner passed away as there was nobody to take care of him. Luckily the vet got him signed over and called us. A lovely, well mannered and affectionate boy who really appreciated a bit of company and a fuss as he settled into his pen. Being six and black, we thought he might be in for a wait... but within a week of putting his details up on our Cat Chat homing page we had an enquiry from a lovely young couple who fell for him and offered him a home. We're absolutely delighted for him, thank you Cat Chat!
