Cats Protection - Aberystwyth & District

Based in Aberystwyth.  The branch are a small group of cat-loving volunteers caring for homeless cats throughout their area. They are dedicated to neutering, re-homing, fostering, feral trapping, vet visits and fund raising. They have many cats seeking loving homes. A small family run rescue, based in Llandrindod Wells, rescuing and rehoming stray and abandoned cats throughout Powys. All cats are given flea and worm treatment, first and second vaccinations and will be neutered before rehoming.

Powys Animal Welfare

Covering Powys. Providing rescue, welfare and rehoming of unwanted and abandoned animals in the local area, mainly cats and dogs. Animals are cared for through a network of foster carers, until suitable new homes can be found. As the animals are kept in a home environment, where the Trust is better able to assess the animal's needs and therefore place them in the most appropriate home. All prospective new homes are visited, so ensure mutual suitability. The Trust also has an ongoing neutering programme for cats, dogs and rabbits.

Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
