Cat Chat is a UK Registered Charity (No. 1100649). Your donation enables us to help cat rescue centres and rehoming groups across the UK & Ireland to find loving homes for cats in their care. All our services to rescue organisations are free. We also help thousands of people (and their cats) every year by providing rescue & rehoming advice.
We receive no government funding, and rely on the generosity of supporters. Could you help?

Donations can be made by Debit or Credit card, Paypal or with a CAF charity account » Donate Here. The minimum donation you can make through our donation facility is £5.00 (for one-off donations) or £2 (for recurring donations). Donations of less than £5 can be made through our webshop. Thank you!

Text Giving is a quick, easy way to give if you are short of time. Simply text CATCHAT and the amount you wish to donate to 70085. You can give any amount (in whole pounds) from £1 up to £20. The text will cost your donated amount plus your standard network rate. Example: to donate £5 text CATCHAT 5 to 70085 (this would cost you £5 plus your standard message rate).

£ Donate via CAF
Donations can be made via Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) using a debit or credit card, or Paypal or with a CAF charity account, here » CAF Donate. We can also accept CAF Cheques, which should be made payable to ‘Cat Chat’ and sent to: The Treasurer, Cat Chat, PO Box 358, Ramsgate, CT12 6YP
£ Donate through the PayPal Mobile App
Donations can be made to Cat Chat through the PayPal Mobile App for Android and iPhone. Using the new 'Donate' function on the PayPal App, you can select and donate to your chosen charity. Donations are received by PayPal Giving Fund and then delivered to your chosen charity. 
The PayPal App is available on iPhone and Android mobile devices and can be downloaded from: paypal.com/uk/webapps/mpp/mobile-apps (note: existing PayPal App users may need to update their app to the latest version to access the Donate button).
£ Regular Donations
If you would like to make regular donations to Cat Chat, either monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly, please choose the "I'd like to give regularly" option on our CAF Donate page. If you are a UK taxpayer, you will be given the option to Gift Aid your donation, enabling us to reclaim the tax element of your donation from HMRC (currently 25p in every pound) at no extra cost to you. Regular donations are much appreciated, enabling us to plan ahead and find even more homes for rescued cats.
£ Donate by Cheque
Please print off our Donation Form (PDF) and send it together with your cheque made out to 'Cat Chat', to: Cat Chat, PO Box 358, Ramsgate, Kent, CT12 6YP. Please indicate on the form if you would like a receipt for your donation. 
If you are unable to print the above PDF, you can send a cheque, payable to 'Cat Chat', to: Cat Chat, PO Box 358, Ramsgate, Kent, CT12 6YP. (Please indicate if you would like a receipt). If you are a UK taxpayer, and would like to make your donation worth 25% more to us, at no cost to you, please include your name and address, and a note to say that you wish us to treat your donation as a Gift Aid donation.
(gift aid notes: 1. you must pay an amount of income tax and/or capital gains tax equal to the tax that all the charities you donate to will reclaim from HMRC in the current tax year - currently 25p in the pound. 2. the donation must be your own money 3. if your circumstances change, you can cancel this declaration by notifying the Charity. 4. if you pay a higher rate of tax, you can claim further relief in your Self Assessment Tax Return).
