HELPFUL INFORMATION

We do not collect money on the street.

It has come to our attention that someone is collecting money 'on behalf of Binfield Dog Rescue'. This is not true. It is also fraud and theft. We are not the only dog rescue that these scammers target. If you encounter someone collecting for an animal rescue, find out which rescue they are 'collecting' for. If it is not local to you then it is probably a scam i.e fraud, because the money is income for the person collecting it. If they are on the premises of a supermarket then contact their head office. The chances are they are not permitted to be there. Also contact the local council because they will need a permit to collect money from the public.

No squeaky toys please

Toys that make a noise when you squeeze them can encourage some dogs to be aggressive towards young children because they squeek too. The device that makes the noise is usually small and can be harmful if swallowed. Some toys of this type contain a small battery which is poisonous if the dog eats it. The best toys are tuggers, tennis balls and hard chew toys that cannot be ripped apart.

Donations are welcome

If you have any unwanted food or towels or blankets please drop them off whenever you can. Please note we do not not accept duvets / pillows or cushions as the dogs tend to rip them up.
