Re: Clumsy cat
This reminds me of my cat Theo. He never meowed when we got him. Our vet said once be got more confident he would and he said not meowing is usually because he's had trauma in the past and not meowing is their way of keeping quiet and hiding away from whatever scared them. Also he flinches if we go ...

Re: bit of food advice
Thanks so much. That's a real big help. I,l bin the GoCat and get some JWB or Purina one sensitive online.:ive just given him a Félix pouch and again he's eaten all the jelly and left the bits of meat (which I had mashed up well) so I covered it up and Il put it down tonight. He's sitting at his cup...

bit of food advice
Ive always fed Theo go cat biscuits in the mornings and gourmet gold pate in the evenings. But he seemed to be leaving quite a bit of the gourmet. So as he's 7 yrs I decided to try Félix senior in jelly. He went absolutely mad over it. Stood up on his back legs waiting for it and woofed it down. Now ...

Re: Cat returning to old house- please help!
Aww how sad for you. But it does sound like he's going back there for peace and quiet away from the other pets. As 7cats says could you ask about leaving food/water out for him, but the only thing with that is if he's getting fed down there he may not come home at all. I'm sure you,l get good advice...

Re: Do cats eat Hamsters?
Sounds a bit cruel to me (sorry, just my opinion) to have a hamster but keep it locked In a cage. Why do that. It may be "entertaining" to sit watching it but sounds like a very boring sad life for the poor hamster.

Re: Help getting kittens through the night
You will get lots of good advice here. I have never had a kitten myself so I can't advice but my opinion is that id put them in a different room at night. They won't be lonely because they have each other and they can play without disturbing you. I only have one cat (5yrs old) and from day one we ke...

Re: swollen hand after cat bite
Thank you so much for the quick replies. It defiantly hasn't gone any worse. And no sign of puss or scabs. Just two puncture marks and swollen but well get it looked at tomorrow. We have a walk in centre by us. First time its happened, he just got very exited, (the cat, not the husband)

swollen hand after cat bite
Hi folks. Theo gets very exited when we get up in the mornings and does lots of friendly affectionate nips but this morning he latched on a bit harder on hubby and drew blood on his hand. It swelled up and was weeping for a couple of hours. Its stopped now but its still red and tight and a bit swoll...

Awww sounds just like my cat Theo. Hes not a bit interested in going outside. To be honest I'm glad. Its not too safe around here for cats. As long as hes having lots of play time he should be happy.

Re: theos strange ritual
Yes I have noticed I can't leave the grandchildrens teddies around because he tends to "hump" them :o . I forgot t say when he's lying on the floor with the toy in his mouth he kind of rolls on his side and it looks like he's spraying (Although he isn't) because his tail goes up and twitch...

theos strange ritual
I feel slightly embarrassed asking this but you guys have probably heared it all so here goes. Theo has a "dabird" toy that he's obsessed with. He's not really interested in any of his other toys, never bothers with them. He has about half an hour to 45 mins play around 4 times a day. He c...

Meriad I really like the look of the barrel one you have from zooplus. My cat Theo is a big cat so would it be big enough do you think. I know some of the cat posts are more suited for small cats and kittens

My vet only charges 5 pounds an he only needs them doing about every 3/4 months. Its done so quick and professionally that it has no effect on Theo

Is it not easier to take them to the vets. I always take Theo. Its done in a minute. I wouldn't take a chance doing them myself

Re: My cat's worrysome behavior toward busy road
Awww I do hope she's ok. That's very strange her being drawn to the road. Ive heared they sometimes wander off to a quiet place to die. One of my neighbours cat crawled under a bush a few doors away and curled up in a ball and died. But I haven't heared of them going to a road.
