Sounds like it's well under control, very positive.

She's back at the vet hospital today to check on her progress, and to have an another ultrasound on the suspected Conn's Syndrome.

He said he thought she was ever so slightly worse on one of the neuro exams, but still quite good. He recommends going back on prednisolone.

The good news is that he's ruled out spinal lymphoma as a cause, due to her tests, progress and the fact that it all started a year ago.

Unfortunately I have had to leave her there overnight while he books an ultrasound slot and sedation.

I should find out more later.

A little good news at least, but quite baffling.

He phoned me back to say that the lesion on her adrenal gland hasn't changed, and it may not even be a tumour, which is good news.

The main conditions seem to be arthritis in her hocks (ankles) and the meningioencephalomyelitis (MUA), which was suspected last year (an autoimmune disease), both of which can cause unsteadiness and stiffness in legs. She will go back on prednisolone and gabapentin for a while.

She may also have cystitis, which may explain her occasional urination accidents outside the tray.

I'm pleased with that.

Got her back today. All lesions which could have been tumours are not actually tumours, and no surgical intervention is necessary, just another course of steroids is recommended.

That sounds like excellent news - still there, but manageable.
