I recently took my two cats to the vets and they picked up fleas there. I have treated apartment, bedding etc with spray and have also used diatemecious earth as well. I have also made sure to aerate each room after treatment. How long should I expect for treatment to set in? I am cash poor right now so are there any homeopathic (cheap) treatments I can do? Any and all advice is helpful! Have had cats my whole life but have never ever had fleas!!

Hi and welcome. If you speak to your vet they will advise on the best treatment. I would beware of using over the counter flea treatments. There are lots of threads on fleas, which may be helpful too, if you read down this section.
