Thames Valley Animal Welfare

Whiteknights Animal Rescue

Operating in Reading and surrounding areas, and across Berkshire. Rescuing and rehoming cats and advising on the needs and welfare of cats in general. They operate a non destruction policy which means that no healthy animal is ever put to sleep. Whiteknights always has cats, rabbits and other small furries awaiting kind, permanent homes. All new homes are checked prior to adoption, and a donation is asked to ensure that a good home is found. Cat viewing is by appointment only. This is a small rescue operated by volunteers, and all funds go towards the welfare and care of the animals.

Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
