Cat Welfare Wisbech

Based in Wisbech. Covering Wisbech and surrounding villages. The charity takes in stray, abandoned and unwanted cats and kittens, rehoming them to loving new homes. All cats over six months of age are neutered. They also offer help with trapping and neutering feral cats. Fundraising events are held throughout the year to raise funds for the upkeep of the cats and the ever increasing veterinary costs. These include bingo, tombolas, jumble sales, a local market stall and a quarterly newsletter with updates on the cats and fosterers.

The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care.
