Friend for Life' scheme: Matching elderly cats with elderly people. The scheme aims to help elderly cats by giving them a home environment to live out their golden years, and to help elderly people by providing a cat companion that they might not otherwise have been able to afford. The scheme is open to other cat charities who may have suitable cats, and to over 60's who may like a cat companion without the vet and food bills.

Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
