Westgate Ark Cat Homing Centre

Based in Newcastle. An independent cat rescue and rehoming organisation covering Co.Durham, Northumberland and Tyne & Wear. Westgate Ark Cat Homing Centre is run by a small but dedicated band of Volunteers, rescuing and re-homing all cats who need a second chance. They neuter most cats before adoption, or require neutering as part of the homing agreement.
Adopt a Cat: Contact the rehoming centre as below to ask about cats needing homes.
Help! Items Needed: Blankets, sheets, old jumpers, etc. for bedding and cleaning, and of course cat food donations.
Help! Volunteers Needed: If you are in the local area, and would like to volunteer your help for rescuing, trapping, feeding and cleaning, they would love to hear from you.

Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
