Based in Chester le Street. RSPCA Felledge Animal Centre provide specialist treatment and rehabilitation to give the animals a happy second start in life. Together with the help of their volunteers they work to meet the animals' physical and mental needs until they are ready to be adopted.

Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
