This RSPCA branch is run by a committee who make decisions about how they can best carry out animal welfare work in the area. They often have cats available for re-homing. All cats will be neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They require a small donation for each animal adopted. All funds are raised locally from individual donations with no government or lottery funding. They also have a charity shop in Chelmsford town centre offering a range of goods for sale.

Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
