Galway Cat Rescue

Galway Cat Rescue is a group of animal lovers, who want to reduce the misery of stray and feral cats in Galway and prevent the birth and suffering of future generations by Trap Neuter Return. Kinvara Animal Rescue

Covering in Galway and Clare.  The rescue is involved in the Neutering and Managing Feral Cat Colonies.
Please Note: Kinvara Animal Rescue do not take in or rehome domestic cats, but do help to prevent the build up of feral colonies by trapping feral and semi feral cats, neutering and releasing them back in their home territory.
If there are issues of their health or problems with location they will deal with those also, but are not rehoming at present.

Mayo Animal Welfare

Based in Westport. Mayo animal welfare rescues abandoned, cruelly treated and injured animals, both domestic and wild. Rescued animals are cared for in a series of foster homes, until new homes can be found. If you can re-home a cat or dog, please give them a call.

Mayo Cat Rescue

Mayo Cat Rescue is situated outside Westport in the heart of the countryside, and is a peaceful haven for cats and kittens who have been rescued from neglect, abuse or abandonment. Rescued cats and kittens can stay at the shelter until a new home can be found for them. All cats of 4 to 5 months of age and over are neutered before being rehomed.
Neutering Assistance: Offering discount vouchers toward the cost of cat spaying / neutering in Co.Mayo, and trap/neuter/return service for feral cats..

Based in Williamstown. Whiskers New park Animal Sanctuary was founded over 15 years ago. The rescue works with nervous and feral cats in Co. Roscommon. They have a sanctuary for the feral cats who cannot be returned to the site where they were caught. The rescue always has cats that are looking for new homes.
