Bramcote Animal Rescue

Burton Joyce Cat Welfare

This small cat welfare group has been rescuing and rehoming cats and kittens since 1983, through a series of volunteer foster homes. The group also offers help with trapping, neutering and managing feral colonies. They operate a non-destruction policy, meaning that no healthy cat is ever destroyed. All cats over 6 months are neutered prior to homing. All animals are micro-chipped prior to leaving the welfare.

The branch helps with the neutering of cats and reunites lost cats with ther owners.  All cats available for rehoming have been vet checked, neutered where old enough, microchipped and vaccinated, as well as having regular treatment for fleas and worms. Cats can only be taken in by appointment, this rescue operates a waiting list.

Based in Nottingham. A small but busy Adoption Centre who help and rehome hundreds of cats a year. Many of the cats at the adoption centre are family friendly felines! Millwood Cat Rescue

Based in West Bridgford, Nottingham A small, independent rescue centre caring for and rehoming cats and kittens around the West Bridgford area of Nottingham. Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
