Rescuing and rehoming in North Oxfordshire & parts of Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire & Warwickshire. BARKS takes in stray & unwanted cats, kittens, rabbits & guinea pigs and finds them good, caring, approved homes. The animals are cared for by fosterers until new homes are found. Prospective adopters are subject to a home visit and an adoption fee is payable, (a non-refundable deposit is required if you wish to reserve a cat or kitten). BARKS receives no grants or funding, so all costs are covered by adoption fees, donations & fundraising.

Blue Cross - Burford Rehoming Centre

Covering Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, and Northamptonshire. Blue Cross Burford have facilities for 25 dogs, 21 cats, 14 rabbits and other small pets. They also have numerous paddocks and stables to care for up to 60 horses. Please call prior to visiting.

Cinnamon Trust - Homes Needed UK Wide
Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
