Used Stamps Appeal - Foreign and British
All types of stamps accepted, British and foreign. They do not need to be sorted, but should be on single paper (just the front part of the envelope), leaving between an eighth and a quarter of an inch of paper around each one, (please don't clip right up to the edge, as this can damage the perforations and make the stamps worthless).
The most cost effective way to send your stamps for our appeal, is to wait until you have 1 kilo or more before sending them (* see below). However we realise that is a lot of stamps to collect, so once you have a good sized envelope full, please send to our Used Stamps Appeal address below, quoting our account name: 'Cat Chat', as follows:

(*) If you have over 1Kg or more to send (inclusive of envelope), the postage cost will be refunded to you - or donated to Cat Chat - (you can choose which), but they must be sent from a Post Office, to ensure the correct postage is paid, and please ask the Post Office to put postage stamps on your parcel rather than a postage label. If you wish the refund of postage costs to be passed on as an extra donation to Cat Chat - please put a note in your parcel to A.J. Read (stamp dealers) to that effect.
Cat Chat currently receives £10 per kilo of stamps, which is the highest rate available!
