Established in Sheffield in 2013. 8 Lives Cat Rescue is small home-based rescue, rehoming mainly in Sheffield and the surrounding area, including parts of North Derbyshire. However, they will travel further to find the right home for cats with more complex needs. All cats are health checked, vaccinated, microchipped and treated for fleas and worms before adoption. If old enough they are also neutered. Those too young are rehomed with an adoption agreement that they are neutered as appropriate. 8 Lives Cat Rescue are very happy to keep in touch with adopters and offer support and advice, or just share photos!

Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
