Based in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire, this is a small independent organisation rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming cats & kittens. Assistance and advice is also available for trapping, neutering and managing feral cat colonies. 9 Lives Rescue can sometimes also help with small furries and birds.

Blue Cross - Bromsgrove Rehoming Centre

Covering Worcestershire and the West Midlands. Helping to rehome cats and dogs in need. All animals are neutered before rehoming (for those that are too young, neutering will be arranged after adoption). The centre has space for 24 cats and 24 dogs, plus puppy and kitten facilities; they always have animals in need of loving homes.

Danemere Animal Rescue

Based in Tibberton. Rehoming cats, dogs and small animals such as rabbits and ferrets.
A home visit is carried out prior to new owners taking their new pet home. All cats and dogs are neutered (if old enough) vaccinated, flea treated, wormed and microchipped before they go to their new homes. A set donation is asked for, which helps towards costs.

Based in Wythal, rehoming in Worcestershire and the West Midlands. Kittens are vaccinated at 12 weeks, chipped, wormed, flead (those under 4 months are homed with a neutering contract). Adults cats are vaccinated, neutered, flead, wormed and chipped. All are rehomed with 5 weeks free insurance. To cover this, Fur & Feathers require a £95 adoption fee for adults, £150 for a pair of kittens and £25 for feral cats. Home checks apply. Cats are rehomed as indoor only pets to older people, and pairs are rehomed to those who work etc. Viewings are by appointment only.

Cats for Rehoming at Strawberry Persian Pedigree Cat Rescue UKRehoming indoor only, pedigree-looking cats in England & Wales (usually around Worcs, Essex, East London, Durham and West Midlands). This small specialist, volunteer run rescue isn’t concerned about pedigree papers, but about the cats themselves. They help all breeds, including Persians, Persian Exotics, Maine Coons, NFC, Ragdolls, Birmans, Burmese, Siberian, Siamese, British Blue and other colours of British Shorthair, and others (no longer taking in Bengal cats). All cats are cared for in foster homes, as opposed to catteries.

Cat Fosterers and permanent homes always needed. The Cinnamon Trust (the National Charity for the elderly, the terminally ill and their pets, Reg. charity. 293399) are looking for more volunteer homes throughout the UK. Pet free homes are needed for short-term fostering of cats whose owners are in hospital or respite care. Permanent homes needed for cats whose owners have died or who are no longer able to care for them. The Cinnamon Trust is not a rescue shelter and cannot take unwanted cats in.
