Bracken, rescue cat at Kathy’s cat rescue, WirralHiya, I’m called Bracken. I am a four year old boy looking for my forever home. I was once owned, but my troubled owner died some time ago. I was then left to fend for myself, and ended up living under a bush in a pub car park. Some kind people gave me some food, but at the time I was also was badly treated by others, it was awful. I wasn’t neutered then, and was living a very rough life. Thankfully I was brought into rescue, and have since been neutered, chipped, and had flea and worm treatment. I am really enjoying being cared for, and having warmth and food. I have learned lots of new things too, I can use a litter tray and I know what cat litter is, and I have even mastered the cat flap! I am a friendly, loving boy, I am just still a bit timid at the moment, and need some time to know that I am now safe. I may be suited to living in an outdoor environment providing I have shelter and care.  Or possibly indoor (with outdoor access), if the right person would give me a chance. Can you help and offer me a home please? I really am a lovely boy once I gain trust in you.

Rescue cat Maisey from National Animal Welfare Trust Tameside, Manchester, needs a homeHello, my name is Maisey. I am around 10 years old, neutered, and my rescuer say I have a lovely purr-sonality! Life was good, until one day when the humans I loved and trusted moved away. I thought they were taking me with them, but they didn't. When my rescuers took me in, I was in a poor state. But thanks to their tender loving care, I am much better now. I am thoroughly enjoying having a warm, comfy bed and regular food. I am definitely not a fussy eater, just grateful for my regular meals. Sadly, due to my difficult life I have a touch of arthritis in one of my front legs, and a fracture in the other which is now thankfully on the mend. However, I will always have a limp. Please can you see past my impairment and take me home with you? I would love home where I have a smaller safe space, where there are no other cats, and especially a home where I will never be left behind again…

Rescue cat Polly from RSPCA Macclesfield, South East Cheshire & Buxton, needs a homeHi there, I am Polly, a semi long haired, black and white girl. I’m approximately 10 months old and have been neutered. I arrived in care after I was trapped as part of a trap, neuter and release scheme and it was felt that I could be young enough to become domesticated. I really wasn’t sure to start with but I am doing really well and I think I could become a happy, loving cat if given time and the chance to build my confidence. My foster carer has been working with me and I’m starting to blossom, it helps that I’m friends with her cat too, so I think I’d do well in a home with another friendly cat. I’m looking for an experienced cat owner who can help me blossom and a home that has a safe garden. I’d rather not share with children or dogs please. Do you think you could help me?,

Rescue cat Mr Darcy from Cat Homing and Rescue, Warrington, needs a new homeHello there, my name is Mr Darcy, because I am so charming and handsome of course! I am around 3 years old and have been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. I came in to the rescue after I was found straying; I am a loveable and affectionate chap, who is happy to live with children (5+); I may be able to live with other cats but definitely would like a home with no dogs. I had a check up with the vet and am in excellent health and I think it must be my turn to find a loving family soon. If you have a safe garden that I could explore that would be fantastic. If you think I could be a purr-fect fit for you please get in touch as soon as you can.

Rescue cat Jess from Kathy's Cat Rescue, Wirral, needs a homeMeow! My name is Jess, and as you may be able to tell from my photo, I am a rather timid girl at the moment, but I am improving little by little; I do still like my safe spot under the bed. Unfortunately I have had a difficult time of it recently, with my previous owner having to leave me and causing a lot of disruption at an important time in my life. I would love a patient new owner who has experience with shy cats like myself and who has the time to give me the space I need to come out of my furry black shell. I do not like other cats and being nervous would prefer to be in a nice quiet home without children. I have been neutered, am fully vaccinated and microchipped, and would love to find a home with access to the outside if possible. I am about a year old, so have plenty of time to grow and really am just looking for a kind human to take a chance on me. I know you won't regret it once you get to know me and once I learn to trust you. If you think you could make such a big difference to my life, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Rescue Cat Marmalade from RSPCA Macclesfield, South East Cheshire & Buxton, needs a homeHello, my name is Marmalade and as you can see I am a gorgeous lass. I am looking for a new forever home after my owner had to move into care and I couldn’t go. I am hoping that I can find a loving adult home where I can be your only pet; I used to live with another cat but we had a falling out and I have decided that I quite like being on my own. I could possibly live with teenagers too but I am not used to any youngsters, so none of those please. I have been neutered, microchipped and have had a medical recently; the vet noticed I had a touch of gingivitis but with a good dental diet that should be cleared up in no time. I am nice and friendly and all I need is the chance to meet you and I am sure you will fall in love with me, please get in touch if you think I could be the friendly feline you are looking for.
