Overlooked Cats: Essex

Hello, I am Bello (yes that rhymes!) I am a sweet neutered boy of about 6 years old. I was living as a stray cat when I was found and put in rescue. At some point I had cancer of my ears so they had to be removed. Its really given me a unique look but I have no problem hearing - selectively though! I am sweet-natured and affectionate. The rescue people describe me as 'a little love'. I would love to be your only cat and I'm not sure about dogs as I haven't met any. I love to play with toys and would love some safe outdoor access. I'm just a lovely earless boy looking to live his best life. Could you give that to me?

Hello, I am Gracie, I am a timid, one year old lass. I am neutered and have been in the care of the rescue since November 24. I am looking for a home where not much is expected of me for some time, but with a guardian who will help build my confidence with new situations and people. I enjoy spending time with other cats, in fact that is when I am most confident; so a resident cat would be ideal to show me how this whole being a homed cat works. I will allow the occasional stroke, maybe this will be better when I find my feet in a home; there are glimpses that I could be a real lovebug once I figure out that people aren't all scary. I am content to be around people, especially if they happen to have chicken, I will even sleep on the humans bed, especially if another cat is there. I enjoy playing with toys (at arms length) and I am quite fond of cat TV too. Hello there, we are Butterfly and Perdita; beautiful black and white coated ladies and we also happen to be mother and daughter. Butterfly is my Mum; she had a tricky past, but the staff here have been working to help her overcome her cautiousness. With time and plenty of patience, and possibly a few lick-e-lix she is building trust and connections with people. I think she wants to have affection but just doesn't quite know how to accept it just yet; hopefully a home filled with love will help her blossom. Well, good day to you. We are Nuri & Smudge, a brother and sister pair, we are around 18 months old, neutered and have all our paws crossed that we will be able to find a home together. We are extremely close, Smudge, who is black and white is very much the more confident of us, he supports me while I build my courage. Once I do though, we are a friendly pair, I love cuddles and as you can see from the picture, Smudge does love a head scritch, he was so focused on that he almost missed the camera. We are a pair of fabulous feline sisters; we both have stunning tortie coats, although Freya has a little more ginger colouring on her face so it is easy to tell us apart; I am easily spotted because of my ginger eyebrows. Hello, my name is Summer and I would love nothing better than to find my very own home to call my own. I'm 5 years old although people keep saying that I act a lot younger, I reckon I'm just a big kitten at heart! I have a beautiful, short haired, black and white coat and the cutest little face. Along with a comfy new home, I'm looking for some kind, loving people to love too because I have such a lot of love to give. I like to stand with my paws on your chest to ask for some fusses. I had an allergy when I was first in care and I am still on medication for this. It's under control now though and things are going so well, I only need the medication every other day and I am a little star at taking it too. The rescue will provide the medication for me. I am on special food but it doesn't need a prescription and can be bought online and isn't expensive. I would love a garden in my new home and would be fine living with children 6 years and older. I would rather be the only cat, but I could live with a cat friendly dog. I have been vaccinated, microchipped, neutered and treated for fleas and worms.
