Overlooked Cats: Leicestershire

Hi there! I'm Rolo and I am a neutered ginger and white boy of 2 years old. I was living on the streets for a while and then I got hit by a car! The vets put me back together but I had to have a leg amputated. The rescue people have been working with me to regain my fitness and confidence. I have made lots of progress and get around well on 3 legs. I would even like to to have some safe outside access at my new home so I can play like any other cat. Despite everything I have been through, I am an affectionate boy and I will love a cuddle on your lap. I would like to be your only pet in a home with older and gentle children. The rescue people think I will make a wonderful companion in the right home. Could you make a special boy like me, a happy one?

Hello, my name is Tom. I arrived at the rescue with my brother from a home where un-neutered cats had been left to breed and when that resulted in too many kittens, we were handed over. I was about 6 months old and underfed when I arrived, we had to scramble and fight for the food that was put down, I still tend to gobble my food down as quickly as I can. I have been here for a while now, I am 13 months old, have grown plenty and have been neutered. Jerry found his people and I have my paws crossed that my turn will come along soon. My start meant that I am very nervous and it has taken a lot of time and patience to find my purr; I will ask for fusses but quickly get overstimulated and will try to bite. I am hoping that you will know how to handle a cat like me, it may settle down with time, but I am looking for a home with no children. I did share space with Jerry, but we also fought a bit, so I am not sure if I want to share with other pets. If you are looking for an intelligent (and exceedingly handsome) cat in your life and can manage my foibles, please get in touch and see if we could be a perfect match.
