Rescue cat Benjamin from Willows Cat Adoption Centre, South Shields, Durham, Northumberland, Tyne & Wear, need a homeHi there, my name is Benjamin; I am around 4 years old and have been neutered. I was found living rough, I was starving, covered in wounds and I had lost a lot of my fur due to flea allergy dermatitis; don’t worry though, regular flea treatment with a prescription flea prevention and I am fine; my fur has grown back now and I am back to looking handsome. I have been in foster care for a few months now and I am becoming more confident; I am still shy and nervous around new people and will need time to settle in to my new home but I have found that I quite enjoy sitting with my fosterer and getting lovely strokes. I am hoping to find a quieter home with no other cats and no young children, in fact if I could be your only pet that would be great. I would like to be able to explore outside, once I am completely settled in. If you think you could be the human for me then please do get in touch and we can arrange to meet; hopefully you will have room in your home and heart for me.

Rescue Cat Binksy from Pawz for Thought, Sunderland, needs a homeHi there, my name’s Binksy and I’m a lovely little, black and white girl, 10 years old and I’m hoping to find someone who can help me out. I’ve unfortunately found myself in care as the circumstances changed with my last owner and I found myself as part of a multi cat household. I was really struggling living there, I like to be the only cat (I’m not sure about dogs either!) I have to say, I’m feeling a wee bit out of sorts as my world’s been turned upside down with all the changes! I’m a friendly girl though and I do like to pop out of my wee house to greet anyone who comes to visit and even better if they give me a head rub - I really enjoy those. I’ve been neutered and am crossing my paws here that someone falls in love with me and picks me for their very own!
BINKSY is at Pawz for Thought, Sunderland. Rehoming in Durham, Northumberland and Tyne & Wear. Rescue cat Fred from Cats Protection, Gateshead & Newastle needs homeHello there I'm Fred and the first 10 years of my life have been really tough. I'm really hoping the next 10 might be a little more comfortable. I was found starving on the streets, but despite this I'm a kind gentle boy who (as the rescue people say)  eats like a horse, plays like a dog and shows affection like a child! As I suffered malnutrition I currently need to be fed 3-4 times a day. I am responding well and you can even see muscles under my fur! Sadly as a result of my neglect I have cat flu caused by FHV so I take medication. However cats found to be FHV positive can live long happy lives if given a chance, they need a quiet, stress free indoor home. So there you go! I'm certainly not some pure-bred picture perfect kitten but I believe theres a special human out there for every cat, and the reward for taking on a cat like me is immense for a real cat lover. Please have a think about whether you could be that human.

Harry and Wills, rescue cats from Gateshead, Tyne and WearWe’ve been waiting over a year… Please pick us! Meow! We are Harry and Wills, and we are brothers looking for a new owner who has the love and devotion to be able to treat us like royalty! We are coming up to one year old, so are very lively as you would expect, but have had a semi-feral upbringing so far. This just makes us a bit nervous but we are still young enough to really come out of our shells. We can be very affectionate around the right people (if you have some treats for us it helps!) and we are looking for a safe, quiet home together. My name is Wills, you'll find my piccie on the left, and I am short haired with more of a white coat than my brother on the right. He is semi-long haired, and also has a slight heart defect, but it is controllable with medication. We would love to find a home together so I can look after my brother and we can share our affection with the right human. Please do get in touch if you think you could be the one for us.
HARRY & WILLS are at New Beginnings Cat Rehoming, Gateshead. Rehoming in: Northumberland and Tyne & Wear.
