Overlooked Cats: Kent (West)

Oh hello there; my name is Winnie, I am 9 months old and have a lovely black coat. I was found up a chimney where I had escaped from some roaming dogs, thankfully my rescuer broke the chimney and got me a place here where I met my best pals Frederick and Freya. Frederick is 11 months old and has a tabby and white coat, he likes to care for Freya and I, making sure we are clean and tidy. He likes to sleep next to our fosterer and is just the kindest chap; he came in after being bullied by the other strays in the colony he was part of. Then we have Freya, who is also 11 months old; she had been abandoned and was trying to survive from bin scraps; she was rescued by a worker who noticed how skinny she was; poor Freya was so scared indoors that she had an accident and was frantically mewing, until she met Fred and I. It was love at first sight for us and now that we are all neutered and ready to go, we have our paws crossed for a guardian angel, who can take us all together. Hi, my name is Princess. I am a 2 year old young lady and I am looking for a home; it will be my first proper home that is my own as I was born outside and had very little contact with humans. By the time I was rescued I had given birth to at least 3 litters of kittens; no more now though as I have been neutered. I am becoming more trusting by the day and will now accept strokes. It is time for me to find my place outside the rescue; a nice quiet home with no other pets or children I think. I am after a human who will work with me to realise my dream of being a house cat. Hi, I am Pebbles. I am a 12 month old, neutered, tortoiseshell lass. I arrived at the rescue after being abandoned by my previous 'owner', just left behind outside without a thought. Neighbours were concerned because I had no shelter or food, I was crying for help and scared by all the fireworks going off around me. I am affectionate, despite all that i have been through; I am nervous or loud noises and fast movements. I think I would be best suited to a nice quiet home where I can be the only pet and in a home with no young children. I could live as an indoor cat as long as my mind is kept busy and with plenty of company from my new human. What do you think; could I be the companion you are looking for?

Hello everybody; I am wondering if you could be just the person I am looking for? I am trying to find a new home that will be my forever. I am 15 years old and have had 3 owners and lived in 6 houses; I was rescued as a tiny kitten and had many wonderful years with my human before their passing; I managed to find a new home then but declining health means that I must try again to find my ideal human. I am a nervous lass and will need plenty of patience, but once I am settled I enjoy a lap to sit on and get a fuss. I am looking for an indoor home, I have always stayed indoors and don't see the need to change that now; I would also prefer to be the centre of your life, so no little children or other pets please? Hello, I'm Misty and I'm hoping you can help me, I'm looking for a home to call my own. I am a 2 year old girl, neutered, chipped, vaccinated and with a white and black, short haired coat. I was found as a stray and when I was taken into the rescue, I didn't know how to interact with people. The lovely people here spent some time with me and I've now found that I love company and especially sitting in laps, in fact, I'm so keen, I barely let you get sat down before hopping up! I can still be a bit unsure and so I am looking for people with patience and a kind heart to help me build my confidence but no children please. I'm not sure about sharing my home with a dog or another cat but you can always have a chat with the people here to check. I'd be looking for a garden to have a stroll in. They say I'm a lovely little lady, how can you resist taking me home?!

Good morning; we are Storm and Mario; we are a pair of best friends, who met here at the rescue. I, Storm, arrived here with my litter of kittens; rescued from a shop basement where I was kept to provide mouse patrol. I am 2 years old and now neutered; I was semi feral and am still nervous and prefer the company of Mario to humans. Mario arrived as part of a feral colony that was being TNR; he had a bad back leg which was an old, badly healed, fracture; the leg was removed as it was not functional and I am happy as a clam on 3 legs. Mario and I are now looking for an outdoor home, like a stables or small holding, even as garden cats. We will need a dry shelter and daily food; and to be well away from busy roads.
