Rescue cat Lola from Pennine Animal Welfare Society, Todmorden, West Yorkshire, Lancashire, need a homeHi everyone, my name is Lola and as you can see I am a gorgeous black and white lass. I am 4 years old and have been neutered. I came into the shelter when my human had to move and I wasn’t allowed to go; as nice as they are I really miss having a home of my own and I really don’t like being here. Because I am unhappy I get moody and then don’t show myself in the best light if people come to visit; so I am hoping that someone will see me here and fall in love, and that they will understand that once I am settled in and realise I have a forever home I will become a loving and happy girl again. All I want is a knee to sit on and a place to call my own. I would like an adult home with no other pets, so I can be the centre of attention. I just want to be loved again, and to feel happy and content.

Rescue cats Charlie & Willow from Pennine Animal Welfare Society, Todmorden, West Yorkshire, Lancashire, need a homeHello, we are Charlie (ginger & white) and Willow aka Will. We are 3 year old, neutered chaps in need of a new home. We were no longer wanted at our previous home, forced to live outside, and not cared for very well, which has left us both very timid. We must be homed together, we just become very sad if we are separated and we pine terribly. We would like to find a home where there are no young children, teenagers who wouldn’t expect us to be lap cats might be ok, and no other pets please as our experiences with other pets has not been positive. You would need to brush us every day as we are both long haired. If you have the time and experience to help us develop our confidence we would reward you by keeping your knees warm once we get used to you; we also love to play with toys. If you could offer us a loving home, where we are truly wanted and have security, do get in touch.

Rescue cat Cleopatra from Leeds Cat Rescue, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, need a homeHello, my name is Cleopatra and I am around 2 years old. I am a beautiful calico girl and I am neutered. I am a lovely and quiet natured lady; I can be a bit timid until I get to know you and because of that I haven’t been noticed yet. I am looking for a patient and understanding home, where I won’t be expected to be a lap cat immediately. I could live with other cats as long as they are laid back and introductions are done slowly; I could also live with older children that will give me space when I need it. The chaps here are quite sure that once I am settled in to my new home I will blossom and become the affectionate little cat I want to be; all I need is someone to give me that chance at a happy home.

Now what do you need to know about me, well, I am around 18 months old and neutered now; I would like to be the only cat and I would like a home where I can be brushed and stroked and loved. I came in originally with my two kittens, my human had to go into hospital and there was no-one to look after us; now that I have done all my mothering I am ready to strike out on my own and find a new home where I will have toys to play with and a loving family to care for me. I can happily live with children and would like a home with a garden for when I am settled in. If you think I could be just the right lass for you then please get in touch as soon as you can.

Rescue Cat Bonnie from Royston Animal Welfare, Barnsley, needs a homeHello everyone! My name’s Bonnie…and I am aren’t I?! I’m a sleek black coated girl, I’m 11 years but you know, you would think it - you should see how sprightly I am! I’m on the look out for a semi retirement home, somewhere I can put my paws up and relax when I feel the need. I’m an indoor cat and would prefer a quiet home with no young children. Although I’m okay with calm dogs and other cats, I think I’d quite like a new home where I’m the only cat. I fit in perfectly and would be no bother at all at my new home and have got lots to give to my new owner. I’ve had a full health check and have been neutered. Go on, give me a chance?

Rescue cat Pansy, from Yorkshire Animal Shelter, needs a homeMy name is Pansy, a beautiful girl down on my luck and looking for a loving new home. I am still a very young cat, at between 1 and 2 years old, and am being rehomed after spending the early part of my life living with 26 other cats! As you can imagine, this was something of a feline frenzy and not the enjoyable cat party I hoped it would be! From this situation I ended up getting quite defensive around other females, so would love a home either with a laid back male or with no other pets (or young children) as I need my own space. You may find me a little nervous at first but once I get to know you then you'll see that I dearly love strokes and affection from humans I am confident with, and am a great cat to have around the house. I would also need a place with access to the outside so that I can have some fun exploring. I've been neutered so am just sitting here waiting for my new owner to pay me a visit! Maybe it could be you?

Rescue cat Penny from Cat Action Trust 1977, Leeds, needs a homeHello, my name is Penny. I'm a pretty black and white neutered female cat. I'm looking for my new forever home as I was previously owned by several students who forgot to take me with them when they moved house! I'm a very affectionate cat and will make a wonderful companion for someone; someone who is home quite a lot would be wonderful as I love to have human company. I really don't like other cats so I would need to be the only cat in the home. I'd love access to a safe garden too, away from busy roads, this would be wonderful. Please get in touch for more information about me. I'm a sweet and loving cat and can't wait to find my forever human.

Rescue cat Coffee from Cat Action Trust 1977 - Leeds, West Yorkshire, needs a homeHi there, my name is Coffee; I am a 6 year old girl and I was rescued by the lovely people here after my owners had a baby and decided they didn’t want me anymore. I was left at the vets and found to have a severe flea infestation; in fact I was so ill with it that they vet had to postpone my being spayed until I have recovered. I have had flea treatment and am getting stronger by the day; so I will be neutered soon. I am a friendly girl who just wants a loving home of my very own; one where I will be loved forever, rather than until circumstances change. I would prefer a home away from busy roads and I am hoping that someone will fall in love with me very soon. If you think I could be the purr-fect girl for you please get in touch as soon as you can.

Rescue cat Einstein from Yorkshire Animal Shelter, Leeds, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, needs a homeHello everyone; my name is Einstein, well Professor Einstein to be precise. I an a two (ish) year old, handsome and neutered chap. I was found starving, un-neutered and as a result had been fighting and was covered in cuts. My eye was badly damaged and couldn’t be saved by the vets, so it was decided that I would manage perfectly well with just one eye and it has healed nicely. I am looking for a home where there are no children and I am hoping that my humans will be patient and understand that I can be a little nervous, occasionally I could be described as grumpy, but given all that I have been through it is understandable. I would need to be in a home well away from busy roads as I don’t have good peripheral vision. The chaps here would be happy to discuss anything you want to know, so just give them a call and arrange to come and meet me; you might just fall in love.
EINSTEIN is at Yorkshire Animal Shelter, rehoming in North and West Yorkshire. To make an enquiry please call 07968 817 803 or Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and please mention you saw Einstein on Cat Chat, thank you!

Rescue cat Toby, at Leeds Cat Rescue, needs a new homeHello, my name is Toby.  I'm a gorgeous, playful young chap of around four years old with a short-haired white and black coat.  I'm looking for a caring permanent home with a garden to play in, and a kind human or two to give me plenty of love and attention.  I'm an energetic, inquisitive little fellow who'll bring lots of fun and adorable kitty companionship into my forever home, which I'd be happy to share with another friendly cat or laidback dog.  I have been neutered.  I'm told that black and white cats often get overlooked, but I simply can't believe that any sensible human who met me would fail to fall instantly in love!  If you have a space in your heart and home for a fabulous feline, then why not come and meet me, and see for yourself?

Rescue cat Angel, from Leeds Cat Rescue, needs a homeHello there, how do you do? My name is Angel. I'm a 2-year-old calico girl with a snow white bib and belly, and after having had kittens of my own I am now neutered (phew!). My short life has been unsettling to say the least; much of it spent in the cellars of my previous owner's house and neighbouring houses. As you can imagine, the past year or so has been very scary for me and as such I struggle to cope with loud or sudden noises. My trust in humans is understandably quite shaken at this point, though I am definitely open to love and be loved again in the right home; I still adore being stroked and held, even after so much time spent with only my kittens for company. I don't think anything would give me greater pleasure than to live in a quiet home, with access to a comfy lap and tickles, and above all, some fresh air! I would love to feel the sun on my face after being cooped up for so long, though I'm quickly learning that the British weather is quite unreliable for that! Although I have been isolated for quite some time, I think I could live with maybe older children, a gentle dog or a friendly cat companion - though all that matters to me really is that I have your love and fusses all to myself; I think I deserve it, don't you agree?
ANGEL is at Leeds Cat Rescue (formerly Leeds Animal Rescue). Rehoming Leeds, Collingham and North Yorkshire. Rescue cats Amber and Sooty from Barnsley Animal Rescue Charity, Yorkshire, need a homeHello there, We're Amber and Sooty and we're adorable, neutered, fluffy kitties that have sadly found ourseleves looking for a new home because of our human's illness. We are both friendly and enjoy a good fuss. I'm the more confident one out of the two whereas my pal Sooty is more shy but he's a lovely boy. We're not related, however we have been loved together in our previous home and have lived together a very long time so we are looking for a loving home together. As we are a mature pair - at 10 years old - we are of course, sensible and would like an outside space where we can explore sedately. We would also appreciate a quiet relaxed home with either older teenage children or no young children. Please say you'll have a think about making us a happy pair and taking us home.

Rescue cat Roxy, from Pawprints Cat Rescue, Bradford, needs a homeHi there! My name is Roxy, pleased to meet you! As you can see, I keep myself ever so neat and tidy, with my Felix coat and very dainty white socks! I'm an affectionate neutered girl, who loves to be fussed - especially when I'm perched on your shoulder! I love all kinds of people and would quite happily live alongside children, as long as they're nice to me! I'm not sure about dogs yet but I think I'd be happy with a like-minded feline friend! With a bit of access to the big wide world, and a loving human to take care of me, I'll be set for life... so what do you reckon? Do you think you could love me?
