Rescue cat Timmy from Animal Accident Rescue Unit, Nottingham needs homeHi there! my name is Timmy and I’m around 3-4 years old. Well what can I say about myself other than I’m a relaxed, quite lazy and lovable boy!
My fosterers try to encourage me to play, and they’ll succeed for a few minutes, but then I just want to lie down and have a quick cat nap. That’s my perfect life really, eat and sleep, sleep and eat….what’s not to enjoy about that? I am a very friendly cat and enjoy a good fuss around my head and chin, I wouldn’t call myself a lap cat though, unless I’m after my food. When I’m hungry I like to remind you that I’m hungry….I do like my food and I’m not a fussy eater at all. I will even sometimes come and nibble your arm as a friendly reminder it’s dinner time. My fosterers describe me as a very cute, very friendly cat. Anyway - I have also been neutered so I'm ready to go and be someone's lovely companion.

Rescue cat Baxter from Animal Accident Rescue Unit, Nottingham, needs a homeHello, my name is Baxter and I am around 6 years old and have been neutered. As you can see I am a sleek black cat, sadly that means that I am less likely to be chosen - I don’t see what my fur colour has to do with it, surely it should be about how fantastic I am! I am a lovely and affectionate lad, I become even more affectionate around dinner times, I am fairly sure it makes sure dinner is on time. When I was found I was suffering with cat flu, it has cleared now but I have been left with runny eyes, easily cleaned with a tissue, and means that I can’t be homed with another cat so as not to pass it on; I am fine to go outdoors though and would like to explore. If you need a loving lad in your life purr-lease do get in touch and let me wow you with my magical personality.

Rescue cat Shelby, at Lina’s Cat Rescue, Derby needs a homeHi there! My name is Shelby, and I am a one year old, neutered girl. I came into rescue as a pregnant stray. I was very lucky to find someone who cared for me, whilst the rescue tried to find my owners, but to no avail.  So they got me a rescue space where I soon gave birth to four kittens. Now I am looking for a forever home. I am a very playful girl, and I can show off some serious gymnastic moves! I am also very affectionate, I like laying on your chest, or being rocked like a baby. And I like to be brushed; I will sit next to you when you're doing your own hair, just waiting for my turn. I love humans, but I'm really not that keen on other cats (I made that known to my foster carer!). So I am looking for a home without other felines. And as I like to go outside, I will need a home with a safe garden. I have been microchipped, vaccinated and I am up-to-date with flea and worm treatment so I am all ready to go to my new home now. If you would like to come and meet me please get in touch.

Rescue cat Cosmo from Life For Cats, Grantham, needs a homeHello, my name is Cosmo. I'm a handsome black and white 1 year old male neutered cat. I'm a lovely boy looking for my forever home. I'm a funny and affectionate boy and am full of character to keep you entertained! After I've had a run about I like to snuggle up on a cosy lap and have a fuss. However, I don't like being picked up, I prefer to keep my paws on the ground, not in the air please! Although, once I'm being held I'm okay, it's the lifting up part that frightens me. I had a difficult start in life so am looking to be part of a loving home, perhaps with someone who has cat experience and a little patience. Oh, and a home without other pets and without children would be best please. Please get in touch for more information about me. I'll be waiting for a lap to sit on.

Rescue cats Spitfire, TigerMoth & PiperCub from Woodland Nook Cat Rescue - Alfreton, needs homeHello, I'm Spitfire and I want to tell you a story. Once upon a time three very frightened kittens arrived in rescue. Some months passed with lots of TLC from the rescue people, and we are still nervous but we have grown in confidence, especially with people that we know well. We are seeking a patient home with adults or older kids who will let us settle at our own pace. We are very close (the rescue people think its charming!) and would like a home together with outdoor access. We have been told we are stunning in colour and markings. I'm the ginger one by the way! We are about 18 months old and have been neutered.

Rescue cat Ruby from Burton Joyce Cat Welfare, Nottingham, needs a homeHello there, I'm a pretty semi long-haired female tabby cat looking for my new humans. I'm a quiet and gentle cat, left slightly bewildered at the moment due to being at the rescue. It's been very confusing trying to understand why I'm all of a sudden in a strange place. I'd really love to find a new home and get back to a normal routine. I would like to find loving humans with a place in their heart and home for me. I'd also love a home with a garden as I like to potter about outside a bit. The only other thing I ask is that you have some cosy places where I might like to sleep, I do like to have a few options. Please get in touch for more information about me; I long to be part of a loving home again. Oh, I should have said, I'm 3 years old, neutered and microchipped so you won't need to worry about these things. Please send an email asking about me, that would be wonderful!

Rescue Cat Cooper from RACR, Nottingham, needs a homeHello, my name’s Cooper and I’m around 1 year old. I’m a handsome black and white boy who’s also been neutered. I’m a bit scared of people due to something that happened in my past but I am slowly coming to realise that getting a cuddle can be nice and I have shown glimpses of the loving boy I will be if given the time and patience to learn to trust again. Even now if I’ve been given no choice and have to accept a fuss, I end up purring my head off and I am a very sweet boy really. I’m looking for a special home where I’ll be loved and given time to trust and blossom into the loving friendly puss I know I can be. I’d like a garden but I’m not sure about living with children nor sharing with other pets. Please give me a chance and take me home so I can learn to love again?

Rescue cat Sox, from RACR, Nottingham, needs a homeHi human! My name is Sox, how do you do? I am a little black and white puss with just the most adorable markings (or so I'm told!). I can be a little reserved at first, but when you get to know me, you'll see I'm ever such a friendly girl. Although technically at two years old I'm no longer a kitten, I still love to play, and my kittenish antics will certainly keep you entertained until I wear myself out! Then a comfy place on the sofa, a tasty treat and a fuss would be just the ticket. Being so young means I'm fascinated by just about everything around me, including the great big wide world; a bit of outdoor space to prowl would be perfect! As yet I don't know if I fancy sharing my space with another cat, child or canine, so for the time being I think I'd prefer to settle into my new home as the only cat! I'm spayed, chipped and had my shots, so I'm all ready to go. Could I be the cat for you?
SOX is at RACR, Nottingham. Rehoming in Nottinghamshire. To make an enquiry please call: 07400 529121 or Email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and please mention you saw Sox on Cat Chat, thank you!

Rescue cat Maizie from Sophie's Refuge for animals in need, Nottingham, needs a homeWell hello there stranger! My name is Maizie and I'm very pleased to me you! I'm a very pretty tabby girl, with stunning grey fur and a pristine white bib. At four years old, I have been neutered and am ready for the next exciting stage of my life! I love playing with my toys at my foster home, and get on well with the resident cats; I reckon this means I'd be fine to live alongside another kitty in my new home! Like most felines I love to loll about in the garden, and would like to be able to come and go as I please; there's so much of the outside world still to explore! If there are little humans to play with I'd be happy with that too, but I'm not yet sure about living with a dog - perhaps best if it's just me to begin with! So what do you think, could I be the kitty for you? I really hope so!
