Rescue cats Spitfire, TigerMoth & PiperCub from Woodland Nook Cat Rescue - Alfreton, needs homeHello, I'm Spitfire and I want to tell you a story. Once upon a time three very frightened kittens arrived in rescue. Some months passed with lots of TLC from the rescue people, and we are still nervous but we have grown in confidence, especially with people that we know well. We are seeking a patient home with adults or older kids who will let us settle at our own pace. We are very close (the rescue people think its charming!) and would like a home together with outdoor access. We have been told we are stunning in colour and markings. I'm the ginger one by the way! We are about 18 months old and have been neutered.

Rescue cat Sally from Lina's Cat Rescue, Derby, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire needs a homeHi there, my name’s Sally and I’m a black and white, 18 month old girl looking for a home to call my own. I was a stray but was being looked after by somebody kind. I was heavily pregnant though and the lovely people at the rescue were called in to help me. I had 3 babies and was a brilliant Mum but now it’s my turn for a home of my own. I’m 18 months old, have been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated and am up to date with worming and flea treatments. I love humans and likee my face and chin being stroked and will even roll on my back for belly tickles! I enjoy my food and eat it with relish! I can also be a bit vocal at meal times - just so you know how hungry I am! I’d like a garden and am fine living with children. I may be best as the only pet though as I’m not sure about living with dogs or other cats. I’m a clean, very gentle and affectionate little girl - what’s not to love?!

Rescue cat Luke, at Kirkby Cats Home, Nottingham, needs a new homeHello, my name is Luke.  I'm a gorgeous young chap of just a year old, with a glossy short haired black coat.  I was brought into rescue as a stray after trying to fend for myself for a while, and I'm looking for a new human friend or family who'll be able to offer me the permanent loving home I deserve.  I've been neutered and microchipped, and am ready for my fresh start in life as a properly cared-for pampered puss!  I'd enjoy access to a safe garden once I've settled into my new home.  Despite the rough time I've had I'm a friendly, lively little chap who'll make a wonderful furry companion; could you offer me the caring forever home I'm longing for?

LUKE is at Kirkby Cats Home, Nottingham. Rehoming across Nottinghamshire. Rescue cat Ruby from Burton Joyce Cat Welfare, Nottingham, needs a homeHello there, I'm a pretty semi long-haired female tabby cat looking for my new humans. I'm a quiet and gentle cat, left slightly bewildered at the moment due to being at the rescue. It's been very confusing trying to understand why I'm all of a sudden in a strange place. I'd really love to find a new home and get back to a normal routine. I would like to find loving humans with a place in their heart and home for me. I'd also love a home with a garden as I like to potter about outside a bit. The only other thing I ask is that you have some cosy places where I might like to sleep, I do like to have a few options. Please get in touch for more information about me; I long to be part of a loving home again. Oh, I should have said, I'm 3 years old, neutered and microchipped so you won't need to worry about these things. Please send an email asking about me, that would be wonderful!

Rescue Cat Cooper from RACR, Nottingham, needs a homeHello, my name’s Cooper and I’m around 1 year old. I’m a handsome black and white boy who’s also been neutered. I’m a bit scared of people due to something that happened in my past but I am slowly coming to realise that getting a cuddle can be nice and I have shown glimpses of the loving boy I will be if given the time and patience to learn to trust again. Even now if I’ve been given no choice and have to accept a fuss, I end up purring my head off and I am a very sweet boy really. I’m looking for a special home where I’ll be loved and given time to trust and blossom into the loving friendly puss I know I can be. I’d like a garden but I’m not sure about living with children nor sharing with other pets. Please give me a chance and take me home so I can learn to love again?

Rescue cat Sox, from RACR, Nottingham, needs a homeHi human! My name is Sox, how do you do? I am a little black and white puss with just the most adorable markings (or so I'm told!). I can be a little reserved at first, but when you get to know me, you'll see I'm ever such a friendly girl. Although technically at two years old I'm no longer a kitten, I still love to play, and my kittenish antics will certainly keep you entertained until I wear myself out! Then a comfy place on the sofa, a tasty treat and a fuss would be just the ticket. Being so young means I'm fascinated by just about everything around me, including the great big wide world; a bit of outdoor space to prowl would be perfect! As yet I don't know if I fancy sharing my space with another cat, child or canine, so for the time being I think I'd prefer to settle into my new home as the only cat! I'm spayed, chipped and had my shots, so I'm all ready to go. Could I be the cat for you?

Rescue cat Ollie from Animal Accident Rescue Unit, Nottingham, needs a homeHello, my name is Ollie. I'm a very handsome black male cat. I'm about 6 years old and am neutered. I've had quite a tough time in life so far and would now really love to find a warm and loving home for myself. I'm super playful and am full of character! I'm not a lap cat but love being close to my human so I will curl up close to you. I also really love feet, oh, and water! I love water! I like to watch the toilet being flushed (a tad odd I know), so I quite like to accompany my humans to the bathroom, you know, if you're okay with that. If not, that's okay as I'll just wait outside for you. I'm looking for a home as an indoor only cat please. I'm very loving and will make a fantastic pet! Have you fallen in love with me yet? Now, for the health stuff! I have FIV, but this isn't so scary. I should live as long and healthy a life as any other cat, but if I ever get unwell I'd need prompt veterinary treatment as I may not fight off infections as well as other cats. I do also have some digestive issues but this is mostly controlled by a special diet. Don't worry though, as this food is readily available in pet shops and online. Also, a calm and stress free environment helps, so a home without children and dogs would be best please. The rescue would be happy to provide any further information you might need, so please get in touch about me. To find out about FIV: Visit Cat Chat's FIV information page, or the FIV Owner's Club on our friendly forum.

Rescue Cats Tash & Tiggy from Lina’s Cat Rescue, Derby needs a homeHello, we’re Tash and Tiggy! It might not surprise you to know that we’re sisters cos we’re both tabby and white and we’re both 9 years old. We’re both the friendliest, laid back pair of cats you could meet - of course, you’ll have to meet us to see for yourself if its true! We both love fuss and attention, one way in which we differ though is that I’m a lap cat but Tiggy prefers to sleep elsewhere but you can always tell where she is though cos she snores rather loudly! Shh don’t tell her I told you! We love playing with toys and will keep ourselves amused while you’re out. We’ve both been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and are up to date with flea and worm treatments. We can’t wait to meet you and hope you’ll find it in your hearts to give two lovely girls a loving home?

Rescue cat Maizie from Sophie's Refuge for animals in need, Nottingham, needs a homeWell hello there stranger! My name is Maizie and I'm very pleased to me you! I'm a very pretty tabby girl, with stunning grey fur and a pristine white bib. At four years old, I have been neutered and am ready for the next exciting stage of my life! I love playing with my toys at my foster home, and get on well with the resident cats; I reckon this means I'd be fine to live alongside another kitty in my new home! Like most felines I love to loll about in the garden, and would like to be able to come and go as I please; there's so much of the outside world still to explore! If there are little humans to play with I'd be happy with that too, but I'm not yet sure about living with a dog - perhaps best if it's just me to begin with! So what do you think, could I be the kitty for you? I really hope so!

Rescue cat Ginny, Animal Accident Rescue Unit, Nottingham, needs a homeMeow! My name is Ginny and my friends tell me I'm rather gorgeous! I'm a stunning ginger and white girl, but I don't let all the compliments go to my head. I'm about five years old, give or take - one loses count when you live such a non-stop life as me. For example, I currently fill my days with relaxing on a lovely soft blanket, getting my chin tickled and tummy rubbed, or a personal favourite: chomping on some smoked salmon. I am also partial to licking my human carers! Who can blame me for losing count of the years with all that going on! Before all these luxuries I did have quite a tough time of it, so am looking for a home where I can feel safe, have my needs met and also receive a bit of attention every now and again. I would love somewhere with access to the outside and have been neutered so am just waiting for the right human to come along - maybe it could be you?
